About this app

File Convert

What is this app for?: Split a PDF into individual PNG or JPG files, gather images and PDFs into one new PDF, or turn a WebP that will not open into a PNG. It all runs in your own browser — nothing is uploaded.
Who can access it?: Staff with a school account. Access is granted through Microsoft, so if you are in the staff group you are already in. If you are refused, ask the Tech Team to add you.

What it does

Five things it does

Every page, its own file

Give the set a name and each page is written out as name-01, name-02, name-03 — as PNG, or JPG at high quality. Pick the pages you want, or take them all in one ZIP.

Framed for 1920 × 1080

Pages that are not 16:9 are scaled up as far as they will go and centred on a black background with a small margin — so a portrait A4 fills the screen without ever being cropped.

Or ready for the printer

The print setting renders each page at its true size at 150, 300 or 600 DPI on white — an A4 page becomes 2480 × 3508 pixels at 300 DPI, with nothing trimmed away.

And back the other way

Drop a pile of photographs and PDFs in, drag them into the order you want, and get one PDF out — on A4, A3, Letter or a 16:9 slide, one to a page or several, with page numbers if you need them.

For the WebP that will not open

A picture dragged off a website often arrives as WebP or AVIF, and then refuses to open or to drop into a document. Convert it to PNG or JPG — resizing, rotating and renaming on the way if you like.
